I think topic 2 or 3 would be strong for your research paper. 3 especially is a growing issue in today's society. It would be interesting for someone to research it and see what people nowadays are saying about it.
I agree with Jameela on number three. I think it would be interesting and fun to learn about when writting your paper.
I think 2 would be the best for you to do because knowing you, you would probably be the most interested in that one. If we're going to be working on it for 6 weeks, you probably want to do the one you're most interested in.

Incidentally, there has been a lot of discussion of restricting trade related to the safety recalls of Chinese products. So foreign trade might also be a timely topic for investigation.
